This installation, created with Meredith Laura Lynn, uses William Henry Jackson’s photographs from the Hayden Expedition, quotes about trekking from “Alone” and text from William Henry Jackson's diaries. It is paired with geolocation of the photographs marked with stills from Alone in leaves that are cut to the shapes of "Real Tree" and "Mossy Oak" brand camo oak leaves.

This piece was commissioned by the Hunter Museum of American Art for the Hunter Invitational.
