Stove Works “Land and Sea”

A white brick wall with a flag hanging in front of it. The flag has an earthworm on it and says "Liberty or Death: I improve"
An image of a grid of black eyed susans with a flag hanging on top of it.

This exhibition, co-curated by Mike Calaway-Fagen and Daniel Fuller, explored built environments. For my piece, I was able to install on the exterior and interior of the gallery, encouraging an experience for passerbys and gallery goers alike. Further inverting interior and exterior, the gallery had 15 Rubeckia Hirta plants growing from composted cotton flags.
